Chicken Drums Of Heaven
Ingredients
- Washed and cleaned chicken thighs
- 4 eggs
- Corn flour
- Chicken stock powder
- Ground white pepper
- Salt
- Finely chopped garlic
- Finely chopped ginger
- Finely chopped coriander
- Finely chopped green chilli
- Red chilli paste
- Vegetable Oil
- Finely chopped onions
- Tomato Ketchup
- Water
- Spring onions for garnish
- Fresh coriander for garnish
Method
- Cut the chicken wings meat from one end to show the bone and give the shape of a lollipop.
- Mix egg, corn flour, chicken stock powder, salt and white pepper powder with chicken wings.
- Add finely chopped garlic, ginger, coriander leaves, green chili and red chili paste. Mix them well & marinate the chicken wings for 2 -3 hours.
- Heat the oil in a wok and deep fry the marinated chicken wings. Fry both the sides of the chicken until it turns crisp and golden in color.
- Now heat the oil in a pan and add finely chopped onion, garlic, ginger, green chili and red chili paste.
- Sauté until onion turns translucent. Add tomato ketchup and mix well. Also add salt, chicken stock powder and white pepper powder.
- Now add finely chopped coriander leaves and pour water to give a thick consistency of the sauce. Add corn flour mixture and mix well.
- Add the fried chicken pieces, finely chopped coriander leaves and spring onion to the sauce.
